Comment: Fatal cardiac arrhythmias have occurred in patients taking Cisapride with other drugs that inhibit the cytochrome P450 3A4 enzyme. Cisapride is contraindicated in this patient. Metoclopramide may be considered if the patient requires a promotility agent.
