Dr. Albert Lai Elected to Fellows of AMIA

Deputy Institute Director and CRIO for the School of Medicine, Dr. Albert Lai, was elected to the first class of the American Medical Informatics Association’s Fellows of AMIA (FAMIA) program. The FAMIA program recognizes members who apply informatics skills and knowledge within their professional setting, who have demonstrated professional achievement and leadership, and who have a sustained commitment to the betterment of AMIA. This credential also recognizes those in the medical informatics field who are experts in evidence-based practice and who are engaged in a community of life-long learners who strive to apply the latest advances in the science of informatics.
