The Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences (ICTS), in collaboration with Venture Café, is hosting Precision Medicine Series on the third Thursday of every month! This month, join us to hear two scholars from Washington University, Eric C. Leuthardt, MD, Professor of Neurological Surgery, Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science, and Mohamed Zayed, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor of Surgery, discuss ways to foster and create innovate medical technology. Dr. Leuthardt, Director of the Center for Innovation in Neuroscience and Technology at Washington University, will speak about how to create an environment for innovation in medical technology. Dr. Zayed, a vascular surgeon and researcher, will discuss strategies to differentiate oneself in a crowded device market for treatment of venous thromboembolisms.
