The Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences (ICTS), in collaboration with Venture Café, is hosting Precision Medicine Series on the third Thursday of every month! This month at Precision Medicine Thursdays at Venture Café, join us to hear about the journey of two Dermatology researchers whose science has led them to seek entrepreneurial opportunities.

Dr. Cristina de Guzman Strong will discuss her genetic discoveries about the evolution of human skin, and how her new company, Evoly Skin is translating this research into precision skin care treatments for diverse populations. Dr. Liang Ma will speak about his research on genes and gene products impacting development of the uterus during pregnancy. His high-throughput cell-based screening system has identified compounds that may improve IVF success and others that may lead to a non-hormonal female contraceptive.
