The Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences (ICTS), in collaboration with Venture Café, is hosting Precision Medicine Series on the third Thursday of every month! This month, Dr. Marcie Harris-Hayes and Dr. Vanessa Lanier will present “Injuries and Pain, Can We Do Better? Unleashing the Power of Movement.”

Movement precision is a vital element in injury prevention and recovery in sports and performing arts. Drs. Harris-Hayes and Lanier, from WashU Physical Therapy and Orthopedic Surgery, will talk about applying precision movement to everyday activities to lower injury risk as well as mitigating injury-related pain and enhancing recovery from injury treatment.
