Join Zoom Meeting: I2 Special Speaker Seminar Series – Dr. Adam Wilcox
This talk, part of the Institute for Informatics (I2) Special Speaker Seminar Series, will feature Dr. Adam Wilcox, Professor of Biomedical Informatics and Medical Education at the University of Washington (UW) School of Medicine and Chief Analytics Officer (CAO) for UW Medicine. He is an appointed member of the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) Methodology Committee, and an elected fellow of the American College of Medical Informatics. Dr. Wilcox has broad experience in both applied and research informatics, both in academia and healthcare delivery organizations. He has worked in healthcare and research institutions across the country, focusing on the applications of information, data and technology to improving care. He is noted for his work with designing, developing and sustaining data systems for populations with research and electronic health record data; for design and implementation of health information systems; and for advancing methods in sustainability of data systems.
