Hillman Hall
Room 110
Danforth Campus

This group focuses on secondary data sources that can help us understand issues relevant for a person’s life course and aging. This is an opportunity to hear how the data are being used by researchers in St. Louis, help with navigating the datasets, explore ideas and just connect in general. All welcome, no matter organizational affiliation or level of experience.

At this month’s meeting, Dr. Shirley Porterfield, PhD, University of Missouri-St. Louis, will share her work on life course effects on people with disabilities, and on their siblings, with specific emphasis on preparation for retirement/older adulthood using the NLSY79 dataset.
