I2 hosts the ICTS Service Tracker tool to facilitate recording of core services provided to Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences (ICTS) members.
The tracker is also used to increase accuracy of and standardize data collection across 15 different key programs and services of the ICTS.
This aggregate service data is used not only for internal ICTS management purposes but also to meet the federal annual progress reporting requirements.
The ICTS is funded in part through the National Institutes of Health Clinical and Translational Science Awards program. The 15 key programs and services of the ICTS are designed to bring together basic research scientists and clinical researchers as well as health-care and commercial institutions in a coordinated system dedicated to improving patient care.
